I'll be out roving on Sunday only. The family has other plans for me on
Sat. As this is a Rovermania shake down cruise my pace will be a relaxing
one. The plans are to cover six grids: EN34, 35, 25, 24, 23, 33.
Sunday, June 12 (all times are local)
EN34 0800-0930 EN34av Close to the Winsted grid corner
EN35 1000-1100 EN35ca Close to the Winsted grid corner
EN25 1130-1300 EN25xa Will be able to roll forward to EN35 from here if
someone needs it.
EN24 1330-1430 EN24xw Close to the Winsted grid corner
EN24 1430-1630 EN24 Rolling south through EN24, working as I go as
best possible.
EN23 1700-1830 EN23 Close to Beauford grid corner
EN33 1900-2130 EN33 Close to Beauford grid corner
If things are slow, for example 6m is dead, I may pick up the pace to try
to make the St. Charles grid corner (EN43/44/33/34). This will be a game
day decision on horseback.
6m through 10g. Don't expect good groundwave coverage on 6m as I'll be
using a mobile whip (vertical). Should be good on all other bands.
Don't look for me on 144.200 because I'll never be there. If you call CQ
off of 144.200 I'll find you. 2m and 222 will be my primary listening
spots, 144.175 and 222.075, call me there anytime. The 2m rig is also my
6m and 432 rig, so if you call me on 2m I may be on the other bands ....
especially if 6m is open. 222 is a dedicated rig.
As with all rovers, please be patient. I will work EVERYONE I can work on
ALL bands that they have before I move on. I will always return to
144.175 looking for anyone I may have missed when QSYing through the bands.
I love CW and weak signals, but those loud SSB signals are OK to !
Rovers drive safe, watch those powerlines. Everyone have fun and don't
forget to put NLRS on your logs when you submit them.
73, Jon
