I got an email from Wally and called him to confirm.
Wally's XYL's cellphone HAS BECOME AVAILABLE. He
did not expect that it would be available, Jan has a
business trip scheduled.

   Please read on ....

   Situation ....

The cell phone is NOT available for Canada liasion
($15 for 3min) So we MUST coordinate with the
Canadian group via 144.260 SSB.

We would PREFER to coordinate where possible via
2m SSB. We are planning that for NT0V and Canada of
course.

We would prefer to coordinate with Sisseton via 2m if
at all possible. 2meters will become easier as we travel
south.

IF ANYONE can provide 2m SSB at Sisseton without
great inconvenience, please communicate directly to
me. It is far easier to stay informed and get updates as
we wait for a turn. We expect to wait ... We understand
your focus is East to the rover packs .. we are "extra
credit" :>) Not everyone does extra credit !!

If cell phone is the ONLY coordination for Sisseton,
we will have to figure out a way to know when we have
mutual time available to run without many calls, if there
is any way.

Last year 2m SSB to Mt Toms was not usable beyond
one early 10Ghz attempt. So for the Rover packs, we
will have to be south and you guys west before we have
much of a chance. Depending upon signal levels at
Sisseton,it may give us an idea when to try with us.
