Who would have thought that the Upper Midwest could deploy 13 UHF/microwave
rovers ? Wow. This has got to be the largest fleet of non-captured,
non-grid circling rovers ever. If your still thinking about it, its not
to late to grab your FT100 and yagis and head to a grid corner Sat.
afternoon or Sunday morning. Remember this is just a 24 hr contest, 1:00
PM Sat to 1:00 PM sunday (1800 to 1800 Z).
A big thanks to Rich, N0HJZ, for pulling the rover data together. Also a
big thanks to John, W0JT, for getting it posted to the NLRS reflector.
If you haven't been to the NLRS link that John has provided, check it out

As Rich said, its all on autopilot now. Safe trip to the rovers, have fun
all. Make some noise on 223.5 and 446.0, especially during the FM
activity times Sat. night and again Sunday morning. Keep a log and send
it in (paper is OK) ... if you don't know how to log or where to send it,
ask. Take a picture or two, fix guys and rovers, and writing up a story
for the ARRLs contest soapbox section, its really easy to do. Its
through these activities that we attract others who are interested.
