[NLRS] Power supply question. SEC-1223 Fan

That brings up a question that I have. Is there anyone out there using the
Samlex SEC-1223 that have experienced the fan running in this supply? It
has a fan so it must be used on occasion, however, I have pushed it to 23
amps draw for long enough periods of time to cause it to become warm to the
touch, but the fan has yet to run. Does this supply have to literally cook
before the fan is required for cooling?? I haven't had any problems with
it, and intend on buying another one to run some other accessories.

Just a thought!

Scott, KB0NLY

exactly the same as the Yaesu FP-1023 when you look inside both of them.
Coincidence? I think not, it looks as if Samlex produced the power supplies
that Yaesu put there name on. Take the covers off both and you will see how
similar they are. And the Samlex costs under a $100.

he asked me if I was tuning around and listening on 20 meters, then when he
saw the display and the frequency his jaw dropped!
