[NLRS] Power supply question. SEC-1223 Fan

Scott,
Come to think of it, I don't remember the fan on
mine coming on...or if it did it was for a brief
second or so when we were testing it out with a brick
running about 250 watts (supposedly drawing close to
25 amps)..plus the radio used in the test was attached
to the supply also. When I have used it on the TS
120S it never came on...even in a constant FD
operation last year when I ran a pileup. It has not
really ever gotten severely warm or has really made
those strained grunting noises..*LOL*, but it does
supply power for a good 250+ Watt (on the meter) heavy
test with no problem. I have also not noticed a lot
of hash noise..if there is some it is VERY miniscule.
I want to pick a few more of these up myself...the
only thing I wish it had was a front panel meter, but
I suppose that is an easy project to remedy.
