Hi Eric,
Switching supplies are good but be sure to check on the radiation. Some
supplies have high radiation signals worse on lower freq but can be heard
at the vhf freq. QST had an evaluation of supplies a year or two ago.
The size and weight of the switchers make them desirable.
I have one brick , a 440 MHz, that requires a peak of 30 amps on ssb.

Subject: [NLRS] Power supply question
Hello everyone,
I am looking to buy a power supply that will power
some small VHF bricks. I am looking in the 20-30 amp
range, but was just wondering what people are using
and any positives or negatives about the supply.
Switching vs regular any quick comments?
Thanks for the help,
And if anyone has one they are willing to part with
give me a shout also.
Thanks and have a great memorial day!

By the way, I was thinking for a second with
yesterdays opening that I really had my rig on 10
meters! Boy that was fun!
