Jim, KB0THN asked me to fix and post his plans for tomorrows' contest
so here goes:
My general plan is to head over to the grid corner west of Ames IA
near Boone (EN21,22,31,32) on Saturday afternoon at the start of the
contest. I will be operating 2 meters and 70cm SSB, primary
operating freq. is 144.230 I will also have 70cm FM capabilities. My
antennas are only omnis.
Depending on the amount of activity I may rove further on Saturday.
Sunday I plan to head through Marshalltown, IA on to the corners near
Newhall, IA (EN41,42) I have comfortable room for one passenger. If
there is anybody who wants to ride along, please drop me an e-mail
at: [email protected]

Sorry I can't do anything this year myself .. 2 Peewee and 1 NHL
games this weekend to watch. Good luck in the contest to everyone.
Rover Plans look awesome! Drive safe - Hope to meet many of you
folks later this spring on the bands (after the hockey season).
73,
Matt
