[NJARC] How to remove Zenith Knobs from K731

Hi everybody,

    I'm stuck on how to get the tuning knob off of a Zenith K731.  This radio dates from the early 1960's.  I remember reading that they used some sort of lock to hold the knobs on as a safety feature.  I just can't remember how to do it.  Can anybody help with their knowledge on how to get the knob off?  The photo below is not my radio.  My radio looks far better. 
    I just need to get inside to replace the caps and, rebuild the IF's on this radio.  Good old Zenith IF's, the quality went in, then the thunderstorm came out.
