I had run across an RCA T62 that had no shortwave reception. Eventually I found the cause. They had added (with very neat soldering that looked factory done) a bare ground wire to the ungrounded end of the SW oscillator coil. After tracing the circiut over and over I finally realized that both ends of the coil were grounded. Marty F.
