Hi Ray,
I absolutely agree. THAT'S why that Stratosphere sells
for $65K. It's got style *and* substance -- but at
grossly inflated price.
Other examples would be the Scott consoles, the Zenith
Waltons, the better Philco and AK Cathedrals, etc.
I think the RME-69 is "beautiful" in its own way, and
the controls aren't even labeled!
