[NJARC] 2-meter AM Operation

Hi Al,
 Welcome to the AM 2 meter group. Getting enough crystals one one frequency 
will be nearly impossible. There was a discussion on QRZ. com a couple of 
months ago that said 145.57 was used in the northeast for AM. We have a bunch of 
crystals that are much higher in the band. It will probably end up like the old 
novice days where people had to tune the band to find signals. I currently 
have my Heathkit Twoer set up for battery operation with the vibrator power 
supply. I also am in the process of  getting 3 Gonset Communicator II's that were 
generously donated to  "the cause" by Joe Cro on the air. I am setting up an 
e-mail list for those interested in a net. There are over a dozen on the list 
already. If anyone reading this want to be added let me know.
