Hi Steve,

NC-81X.   It's fairly rare.

I have a manual.  also... here...

Use the NC-80, it's the general coverage version, and the same manual.

Don't run it without a speaker, or at least a matching output 
transformer.  These were mounted as part of the speaker (extremely rare.)

Don't lift the receiver by the front bezel, it will break.

This radio is AC-DC, which you probably figured out by now.  Take care you 
don't get zapped by a hot chassis.

Grey is the proper color, take care to preserve it.

This was the first receiver I ever purchased ($35.) in 1956, while in High 
School.  It worked very well and I used it on 80 and 40 with my 6L6 
oscillator and worked about 15 states in two months.
