Hi Joe,
Just took a look at the fuzzy numbers on the original Riders
XII drawing. The input cap, the one nearest the 80
rectifier, is 16uF and the one on the other end of the choke
is 25uF.
The classic fix for speakers is rubber cement, but I'm
concerned with it's long-term stability. I'd go with one on
the "contact cement" products. These remain flexible. The
"give away" is when the instructions tell you to apply it to
both surfaces and let it dry before joining. The one I have
lying around here is Scotch Super-Strength All-Purpose
Adhesive. Comes in small tubes so you don't need to ante up
for a large amount. Use some sort of fleible paper, like
paper towel, to make a patch. You might dye it with magic
marker if appearance is an issue.
