[NJARC] Philco Console

My experience with speaker repair is similar to those suggestions already
made but I prefer a water based wood glue (Elmers or Titebond)applied
sparingly with a cotton swab and covered with tissue paper, again using the
swab to work the glue in, much like working with fiberglas. After drying, I
spray the cone with a lacquer type hair spray (aerosol can, not pump type).
Again use sparingly, applying several coats if necessary. Too much will
wick down into the voice coil. This treatment remains flexible and
strengthens the cone against further tears.
