[MVMA] MVMA 'Loaner Mesh Kit': New specification?

It really depends on the situation. There are roughly 20 hams living in my
plat, and the adjacent plats across Beaver Valley Road. I would guess
that at least half of them could connect to my 2.4 omni, using a NS on a 20
ft mast. I can think of two hams that are within 1000 ft of my place, who
could connect with a NS in their car, sitting in their driveway. I've
tested it. I believe many Xenia locations can connect directly to 2nd St.
with a similar arrangement.

In addition to the tunnel arrangement you mention, a really good loaner kit
could include pairs of Nano Stations for 900, 2.4, 5.8, and even 3.4, ON
THE PRESUMPTION that the newbie will have a mesh buddy working with them,
in their neighborhood, to experiment and see what can work. Kit could also
include a few sections of fiberglass mast. Guilding the Lilly? Probably,
but in some cases, that is what it will take.
