Thanks, Larry.
What is in your 'go-box'?
I hope Henry is on this list.
Everyone:
Does anyone have a 'MyFi' device that can create a MOBILE G3/G4
hot-spot to ethernet (RJ-45) ?
Who was the Point of Contact for DARA last year?
Who is the PoC for DARA-Maker-Faire-2018?
I have no knowledge of anything whose name starts with 'Win'.
If there is to be any demonstration of "Win*", someone else will need to organize and share.
I can bring my 'go-box' which contains:
locoM2
Grandstream 1630
GS108E managed switch configured as 3 Node, 4 LAN, 1 WAN; as per AREDN documentation.

Last year I brought my "go-box" and tried to connect to W8GCA-10 the local Win Link express 440 server.
I tried but neither myself or Bill curtice were able too.
I tried using Bill's endfed 40/20 meter antenna to try and get on HF and then connecting to winLink using Winmore
a built in modem for HF within winlink express program, again no success
DARA sets up a big tent MVMA was included we had several cameras one at the "build-off" site another in the tent
where we were. there was a tent selling dongles for $20 and instructions for getting them on the air
DARA had a kids "learn to solder" benches set up which proved popular.
one year we placed cameras and phones all around the grounds BUT we did not plan and there were no signs letting
people what they were for, first year we were inside at the door leading out to the grounds, the tent worked best.
what are your plans? TEAMTALK, CAMERAS, use MVMA TV for displaying what ever is needed.
and someone, not me who knows what MESH is and it's importance to EMCOMM.
so TEAMTALK-----CAMERAS--------ROUTERS-------AND THE MVMA TV FOR DISPLAYING Plus a computer or two running the programs
Bill and Henry would know more that I do................

What happened last year(s)?
What organization or who requested to be a presenter?
MVMA, DMA, DARA, BARC, ...
How was the tent obtained?
Who brought what?
Are there any emails or documents from last year's communication?
Is their any 'Organizational Memory' from the last event(s)?
"Organizational memory (OM) (sometimes called institutional or corporate memory) is the accumulated body of data, information, and knowledge created in the course of an individual organization's existence.'
As opposed to:
Tacit knowledge is the knowledge that someone has learned about something but isn't shared or documented.
