* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern New Castle County in northern Delaware...
  Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...
  Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 749 PM EDT, several river gauges had reached action stage in
  the advisory area, including the Christina River at Coochs Bridge,
  the Perkiomen Creek at East Greenville, the French Creek at
  Phoenixville, the East Branch of Brandywine Creek at Downingtown,
  and the West Branch of Brandywine Creek at Honey Brook. Although
  rain is relatively light at this time, steadier rain may occur
  later this evening, potentially exacerbating urban and small
  stream flooding already occurring.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Reading, Newark, Middletown, West Chester, Elkton, Calvert,
  Pottstown, Phoenixville, Coatesville, Wyomissing, Downingtown,
  Elsmere, Kennett Square, New Castle, Birdsboro, Collegeville,
  Oxford, Kutztown, Royersford and Hamburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
