...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WARREN AND
NORTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 624 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was over Tatamy, or
near Easton, moving northeast at 40 mph. Additional storms were in
Warren County.

Local wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Hackettstown, Washington, Blairstown, Nazareth, Bangor,
Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Hope, Belfast, Tatamy, East Bangor, Great
Meadows-Vienna, Brass Castle, Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Roxburg,
Columbia, Beatyestown and Stockertown.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring, and may cause localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring, especially with the
storm in eastern Northampton County as of 624 PM. Lightning can
strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside
a building or vehicle.
