...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE AND
NORTHERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 233 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Green Spring,
or 8 miles south of Middletown, moving east at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Smyrna, Clayton, Delaney Corner, Green Spring, Woodland Beach,
Townsend and Chambersville.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
northern Delaware...and northeastern Maryland. A severe thunderstorm
watch also remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for central Delaware...
and northeastern Maryland.
