...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE AND EAST
CENTRAL CECIL COUNTIES...

At 244 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Cayots, or 7
miles south of Elkton, moving east at 5 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Warwick, Hollywood Beach, Bohemias Mills, Cayots and Chesapeake City.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
