...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN BERKS COUNTY...

At 422 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Reading, moving
northeast at 5 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Fleetwood, Sinking Spring,
Laureldale, Wernersville, Leesport, New Morgan, Spring Ridge,
Fairview Hgts, Stowe, Shillington, West Reading, Mount Penn, Mohnton,
Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, West Lawn and Lorane.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
