COUNTIES...

At 310 PM EST, the Delaware Department of Transportation reported
heavy rain causing minor flooding in several areas of Kent County.
The steadier rain is moving northeast of the area, but runoff will
continue to cause some minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Wilmington, Vineland, Dover, Newark, Millville, Bridgeton,
Middletown, Elkton, Cape May, Cumberland, Pennsville, Smyrna,
Milford, Carneys Point, Elsmere, New Castle, Penns Grove, Salem,
Buena and North Wildwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
