...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM EST FOR NORTHERN
HUNTERDON...WESTERN WARREN...NORTHEASTERN BERKS...NORTHWESTERN
MONTGOMERY...LEHIGH...NORTHWESTERN BUCKS AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 240 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Perkiomen Creek continues to rise, with the gauge at East Greenville
nearing flood stage. With more rain moving through during the next
couple of hours, the creek may reach flood stage this morning. An
upgrade to a flood warning may be required.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Forks, Emmaus,
Northampton, Quakertown, Perkasie, Wilson, Souderton, Bedminster,
Washington, Hellertown, Nazareth, Bangor, Collegeville, Royersford
and Slatington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
