...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL KENT...CECIL AND SOUTHWESTERN CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
showers and thunderstorms moving northward over the same areas. This
will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of
rain have already fallen in some areas based on radar estimates.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Elkton, Calvert, Coatesville, Oxford, Parkesburg, North East, West
Grove, Charlestown, Cecilton, Homeville, Zion, Blake, Barksdale,
Cochranville, Brantwood, Fair Hill, Glen Westover, Bay View, Lombard
and Andora.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
