...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT FOR BERKS
COUNTY...

At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and
thunderstorms moving across the advisory area. While the first area
of heavy rain is weakening and shifting north of the area, some
additional showers and thunderstorms are anticipated to move into
the area from the south. This will cause minor flooding in the
advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen in some
areas.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Kutztown, Hamburg, Fleetwood, Sinking
Spring, Laureldale, Wernersville, Leesport, Shoemakersville,
Bernville, Lyons, Lenhartsville, Spring Ridge, Fairview Hgts,
Shillington, West Reading, Mount Penn and Mohnton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
