The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South central Atlantic County in southern New Jersey...
  Northeastern Cape May County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 105 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. In
  excess of two inches of rain have already fallen in only 40
  minutes. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the areas
  of heaviest rain.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Ocean City, Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor City, Northfield,
  Margate City, Estell Manor, Longport, Corbin City, Beesleys Point,
  English Creek and Linwood.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch are possible in the warned
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
