I had a great time at MRCG #20, you guys did a great job!!
Before the quarterdeck remodel at NCTAMS Lant they had a mini museum at
the entry with vintage Navy comm gear and documents including that
original "Oscar". When the remodel and expansion were done in the '90s
the museum display went away because the brass wanted to emphasize the
future not the past but they kept the logo. Never found out what
happened to the old comm gear.
Old Crows are the comint/sigint guys. Several years ago I got to attend
their convention in Ft Walton Beach Fla., lots of neat displays.
