[MRCG] MRCG 2015 wrap-up

Thanks again to John and Mark and  others who helped to make this another great Meet.

John asked for anyone's input on next year's T shirts and here's my 2 cents worth. The artwork that is done for T shirts costs money that we , as a group, could otherwise pocket by using existing drawings , photos, and the like from TM's or other govt publications.

There are some funny cartoons in some of the manuals depicting proper or improper use of radio gear that I think would look good on a T shirt . There are photos of shipboard and aircraft radio positons too.  Like using Oscar the Octopus for the Navy as was suggested. Anyway I think using something that actually shows some radios would be nice for a Military Radio Collectors Group T shirt.

Just a suggestion to maybe generate some future money for the Meet is to have a MRCG Calendar. The year  1945 will be the same as upcoming calendar year 2018 . Maybe a Calendar with  1945 on it instead of 2018  on it with pics of some of our groups radio gear or mil radio room stations to adore each month might be  a good seller??? We missed out on this year 2015 which is the same as calendar year 1942.
