60W AM through a NVIS dipole isn't doing the job - I have Iron Envy. Too bad Tokyo Hy-Power folded.

I'm slowly debugging a hacked Heath DX-100. There is hope..........

The iron and tubes are good, It has been completely re-capped and the HV supply rebuilt, but I think the VFO is not operating (no obvious RF output).
I will try it on xtal as recommended to see if it's even oscillating.

If no-go, back to the manual.........start checking resistors
