[MRCA] R1155 Receiver

  A lot of collectors avoid overseas  radio equipment as the connectors 
are often very scarce and expensive. The British R1155 uses standard 
"Jones" type connectors and it is very easy to fabricate matching 
connections. Unfortunately a lot of hams destroy the set by removing the 
Jones connectors  and installing their own, I have even seen an SO-239 
installed on an  aluminum plate and binding posts utilized for power. 
Removing the Jones connectors illuminates  the  possible use of a LR 
indicator, loop antenna, and not to mention the radio now looks like krap.
An interesting question is did the British have license  from "Cinch 
Jones" to manufacture or copy the connectors? Or did we send the 
connectors to the British?
