[MRCA] PRC47 genny?

Hi Mike - well I don't know, but that mid-1970's Special Forces "inspection
layout" photo is pretty hard evidence that the Homelite generator was used
with the GRC-109's, at least. I also think the Homelite may have possibly
been procured to replace the older UGP-12 generators for the '109's.

Joe: Are you sure they were mainly used for lighting? That standard NEMA
AC power socket would be asking for trouble - inviting the unwary to try to
power some 60 cps equipment into it and expecting it to operate properly...

Incidentally, the Homelite TM (dated 1967) does not address what the
generator was used for - equipment wise. Seems to be left to the owner
based upon the specs....

As to powering a PRC-47 or similar, these genny's don't have much of a
flywheel to power the set during high voice power peaks. I dunno.
