The Type 12 equipment is easy to re-package.  Also fairly easy to convert to
12 volts. Here is a photo of my VHF  mobile at Gilbert last year. When the
field ops are over, just take it out of the "vehicle" and plop it on a
table. 



Oh, yeah, and fun to play with.  One of the planned displays on the “show ‘n
tell” trailer will be a T-13(*) converted to FM a la Dave Stinson with an
R-19 to slope detect FM.  I figure that should get the interest of the
“HT-surgically-implanted-to-the-hip” crowd 
 which is nearly everyone (among
hamdom) here.

 

Someday I’ll post my ARC wanted list for everyone to point & laugh at. :-)
