Rich I have one of these sets, and I know a few who already put them on the
air, and I had worked them

The 102E is a copy of the US AN/GRC-9 field transmitter/receiver, with some
relatively minor differences.
It's not difficult to build a power supply for the transmitter, and the
easiest way to power up the receiver is to build a "battery eliminator" for
old portable commercial tube radios (they basically all need 1.5 VDC
filament  and 90 VDC plate supply) from a kit which is sold by Antique
Electronics Supply.
There was a good article on putting it in operation with homebrew supply
schematics in one of the past issues of Electric Radio Magazine.
I haven't used mine yet, as I have some other military radios waiting for
attention (restoration and maintenance) in my shack and I haven't had time
to cobble together the power supplies yet...
