Hi Shawn:

Are you a Maxtrac guru perhaps? I have a LB Radius (42-50), that I would like to put on 6m ham band. I have very little technical expertise in working on the innards of these radios. My current collection consists of a UHF Spectra, a bunch of MCX-1000's, an HT-1550 portable and just got a few MX-300s. We hare also working on a VHF repeater in the 143 mhz range for Air Force MARS.

Have you ever done a converson of the Maxtrac/Radius to 6M?. If so, I would gladly pay you to get mine up and running. I'm also interested in playing with 900 mhz.

The guys locally are now more interested in ASTRO stuff since we now have 3 UHF hamk repeaters in the Chicago area running APCO-25 digital. I remain in the dark ages with my humble analog radios. For now that is.
