[Motorola] Installation Tips

Thank you everyone for the excellent information on my question.

I especially like the idea of a storage box across the bed.  

I am curious though about mounting antennas on the lid.  What do you 
suppose the disadvantage (or advantage) compared to the cab roof 
would be?   Anyone have experience with both locations?  Actually, 
between the two-way and two scanners, I will probably need both 
places..hehehe.
