I know it's not the 100% P.C. Amateur attitude to have,
but perhaps what's needed is a few max-output Amateur
stations on the 33cm band, just to kinda say...
"We were here FIRST!..."
I don't look too kindly on our freqs being bought
and sold out from under us (can you tell I'm a ham ?),
like was done with the low end of the 220 band !!! :(
I've seen a LOT of commenting re: Nextel being a rather
problem laden and failure prone technology, and it's a
shame to see such a poorly planned out product hinder
another service that's contributed so much to technology
over the last hundred years... <sigh>
