[Motorola] 928 Mhz Micor (re: Nextel)

I thought all the junk causing problems in the 900 ham band were part 15 
devices not Nextell. I also thought Nextell got assignments in the commercial 
portion of the 900 band not the 902-928. Is this correct? If so why would 
Nextell cause any interference 
in the amatuer portion of the band?
