Should slide down with no real problems however the sensitivity might be a little lower than spec being on the ragged edge of the bandpass. I doubt you will loose more than -3Db over spec'd if you carefully tune it and have a
strong rock in the socket. Only BIG problem I see is Nextel and their recent 900 aquisition. Nextel is already causing headaches in the 900 ham band and I doubt it's going to get any better in the future.
