Never program in Reboot in DOS mode....
Did your computer ever actually REBOOT? or did it quit out of windows 95?
My guess is the later... To do it correctly reboot it, and just before it
says Windows 95 - hit f8 a few times - you might have to work on your
timing. Then select Safe mode command prompt. This ensures that NOTHING
left over from windows 95 is left in memory. Things residing in memory
can effect the serial port, and you will have problems....
That is the safest way to ensure that doesn't happen.
