I used to get that message, too! I am running Windows95 on my laptop. I was
trying to program from a DOS window. Then, I decided to boot up in the DOS
mode and it worked fine! If you're running Win95 just go to the Start menu
and click on shutdown. Then select "Reboot in DOS mode" and it should work
OK!
