[Mobile-Portable] Question about HF mobile

In my experience with the 706 and other models, this is due to RF
getting back into the radio. In other words, stray RF and grounding
problems cause this to happen.

Some of what I had to do in my case was to add filtering at both ends
of the control head cable (snap on rf chokes from Radio Shack was all
it took). In addition, I had to work on grounding and bonding metal
in the vehicle. I could not eliminate all stray RF on certain
frequencies, however.
