[Mobile-Portable] Ford fuel pump noise

Hi Steve

YES all Fords have it.

Ford has a fix for the fuel pump noise. and it worked on my 95 Grand
Marquis.
and the Mercury dealer fix it under warranty in.
I got info from a ford Engineer by calling the 800 number in the owners
manual.
He also sent me a copy the fix procedure, Article No. 98-7-3  Fuel
system-Fuel Pump 
noise comes through entertainment or two-way radio.

Place a RFI filter ( F1PZ-18B925-A  I think this is a Ford part number )
on the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

If you would like a copy of this procedure, I can send it to you as an
attachment.
