[Mobile-Portable] Screwdriver Antenna

VSWR on my 14-month old Tarheel 100 has changed. The antenna is mounted on 
a Buick LeSabre using a trailer hitch mount. On 40M the tuning is VERY 
sharp, touchy and not as low as previously experienced. Before I 
disassemble it for cleaning or other mtce., I wonder if group members have 
encountered this and/or have suggestions. I've not had it apart previously.
