[Mobile-Portable] Vehicles and EMI

I've had very few EMI problems running a 706 II and an amp at about 500  
watts to the screwdriver on either my 2000 Chevy Impala (3800cc engine) or the  
2000 GMC Yukon. At 500 watts, transmitting on 20 mtrs disengages the cruise  
control on the Impala. Backing down to 350 watts solves that problem. In the  
Yukon, 500 watts cycles the right rear electric window. Reducing to 200  
watts--or locking the window--solves that issue. In each case, the screwdrivers  are 
mounted on a homebrew trailer hitch assembly.
