[Mobile-Portable] 97 Chevy Tahoe noise problem

Hi, Rick.
I'm pretty sure Scott isn't proposing to shield his spark plug wires by
sliding braid over them. In modern ignition systems wire sets are part of
a complex inductive system under the control of the ignition
microprocessing system. External braid adds a bunch of capacitance to the
equation that a lot of systems can't handle.
Scott was only talking about using braid as a bonding medium between metal
components of his car. A long time ago I would have (and did) try to
shield my plug wires, but not with today's tuned and balanced ignition
system. I leave the entire issue of wires strictly up to Magnacor.
