I use two sizes of heater hose (concentric) which has a 1 inch OD, over the
Magnacor wires, wrap them in aluminum foil and then 1 1/2 in braid over that
for my ignition wires. Each assembly is grounded in several places. Built a
copper foil, grounded, box for the ignition module and soldered the braid where
it enters the box. Mechanically supported these heavy assemblies in several
places with #12awg wire twisted to various engine brackets. No arcing
problems. My five onboard computer modules became the next noise source to deal
with, used a lot of snap on ferrite and then 0.05ufd bypass caps for the two
noisy a/c fan motors.
