OIC!  Thanks for the explanation.  I've always wondered how it worked.  =
Does it mean using transparent or non transparent adhesive tape has no =
bearing on its functionality?

I used to have a 2m 5/8 wave (or was it 7/8) Larsen on my car but the =
SWR was horrible & RX was very bad.  I didn't know the position of both =
pieces had an effect.  Perhaps I should have tried it before I gave it =
up.
