One of the main points for your instalation is to EARTH your instalation
well even the radion on the connector supplied at the rear of the radio
The ARRL also had a very good section on mobile instalations on the web
site, my membership expired so I have not been there recently.
In general the manufacturers over cover themselves with policy , but the do
design very good computers, however the computers to watch out for faults in
are the ABS and air bag type units, the engine ones will notify you fia the
engine , normally just a misfire or cut out and have to restart, the ABS
type ones may only put a light on.
