I light my filaments on a regular basis. Only one rice box in the shack (6 mtr). When the wx is nice, I walk away from glowing radios, and go take a long putt on my ‘38 Harley Knucklehead. As Joe Walsh (WB6ACU) sang: “I’m an analog man in a digital world....). I’m content to live in the past - it fits my lifestyle. Don’t apologize for how you are! It’s worked for me for sixty yrs now.
