[Milsurplus] Hamfests, et al

Put simply- We're living in a Tesla/Prius world,
and we're driving and trying to sell Egyptian chariots.
(lots of guys are trying to sell those chariots at Prius
prices- Good luck with that).  A few of us "charioteers"
are still riding, but fewer every day.  The "ham radio"
you and I knew and loved will gently fade away like
the last rays of sunset.  Such is the inescapable
fate of everything created by the hand of Man.

Don't value your passions by the opinions of the cattle herd.
Don't abandon your much-loved chariot just because there
are so few on the road.
Enjoy your radios.  Fellowship with those of us who remain.
Accept that all things fade.
Cease the time.  Do that project you value *now.*
"Make Now always the most precious time.
  Now will never come again."
Also remember that for a person of Faith,
nothing is forgotten.  Nothing is lost.
